Darany and Brandon came to me as a referral from Julie at Fiorella Floral Design. They got married last September at Earth to Table: The Farm in Millgrove, Ontario. Darany’s colour palette and vision were spot on for the location and time of year. We used warm burgundy, brown, mauve and blush to set the scene among sprawling fields and panoramic views. Darany spent a great deal of time collecting antique brass vases to incorporate flowers into her green garland vision. We finished the look with blush chiffon table runners and wrapped the four main posts in the barn with wild vine-like greenery.
We also had a lot of fun with the ceremony arch and not just because it was the most perfect day for an outdoor ceremony. The fixed arch on the grounds was great for two large floral clusters and supported a generous fabric swag. We finished the reserved aisles with greenery bouquets fixed to the seats.
A striking detail of this big day that I would be remised if I didn’t mention was Darany’s gorgeous wedding dress by Abigail of Gardenia. The detail in the floral pattern was divine and she looked like a vision with flowers in her hair! All these beautiful details were flawlessly captured by Emily Michelson. We are so grateful for our photographer friends who take such care in capturing all the small details.
