When we got the photos back from Nilofer and Hugh’s wedding, we were stunned. Their colour palette was dramatic, yet playful and looked incredible against the neutral colours of the city.
We used bold burgundy peonies, quicksand roses, peach ranunculus, white majolika, brown lisianthus, and added delicate touches of blue with tweedia and delphinium.
Steam Whistle Brewery is known (and loved) for this industrial feel, so to bring warmth and life to the space we used a variety of greens, including olive, sprengeri, eucalyptus, and tropical foliage. We made a lush deconstructed arch of greens and to tie the room together, we wrapped the beams in greens as well. The overall organic look of the arch looked great against the black paneling and the concrete floors.
For their tables we went with a mixture of bud vases and candles, and low centrepieces. Nilofer and Hugh had a lot of warm orange tones in their tablescape which blended in nicely with their overall floral palette, making this wedding truly one to remember!
