Jacqueline and Justin had originally planned their wedding to be at a winery in Niagara on the Lake. Like many couples, they chose to change their plans so they could still be married in 2020. It was a reminder to us that love is love, and regardless of location and guest count, it should always be celebrated and is always special. So on a warm August day, Jacqueline, Justin, and 25 of their closest friends and families gathered together at Sara Restaurant to watched the happy couple say “I do”.
For Jacqueline and Justin, we went with a classic palette of feminine and soft blush with greens and white. We designed their florals with a minimalistic feel and complimentary textural elements. Downtown Toronto has so many unique architectural pockets and the juxtaposition of the delicate feminine flowers against the brick and industrial feel of downtown Toronto makes it a very unique place for weddings.
The arch and ceremony space was specifically designed to be looser and wild in structure which contrasted beautifully against the simple and sleek copper house-shaped arch. In Jacqueline’s bouquet we mixed organic lines and textures with classic wedding flowers such as blush roses and white orchids. We especially loved the smoke bush addition that added extra texture and whimsy to their flowers.
