Sam and Austin were very inspired by the rich tones of fall and wanted to incorporate the striking colours of the season in their floral design. Along with this bold colour palette, we decided to incorporate modern minimalistic touches with the colours of the candles and the arch to tie in with their clear chairs and the the overall simple, clean minimalistic feeling of District 28. Their wedding day was the perfect blend of organic, bold florals with modern, minimalistic touches.
For their flowers we went with quicksand roses against rosy copper beech. We also added fall inspired burgundy accents such as burgundy dahlias, local brown lisianthus, cappuccino roses, and lastly added delicate white larkspur for contrast. We also played with lines and textures in their florals so the shape was more robust and had an organic feeling.
Our absolute favourite part of their day was the beautiful, one of a kind, custom made cathedral arch by Euclid Design Co. The cathedral arch was made in a beautiful brushed copper to add a contemporary touch to the ceremony space while still working with the tones and colours of fall.
