Lush Mauve Wedding at York Mills Gallery

April 20, 2020

Natalie loved the colour mauve so much that it became the basis for her wedding design. The venue Natalie & Phil selected has a darker interior so we knew we wanted to keep the decor light and airy. All accents, including vases and centrepiece stands were clear in an attempt to make the mauve pop. The amnesia rose stood front and centre at this wedding.

Natalie &Phil’s wedding ceremony featured our asymmetrical arch with loose and airy blooms. We lined the aisle with all tree-like structures to frame the bridal party as they entered the ceremony. The girls carried senlitsu garden roses in their bouquets and boy, were they stunning alongside their emerald green dresses.

The reception had a mixture of round and rectangular tables. The round tables had a mixture of tall tree-like centrepieces and low compote arrangements. The long rectangular tables featured “growing” garlands down the centre. While most garlands can look flat and lack-luster, the growing garlands feature blooms at various heights to make it look like they’re actually growing from the table. The family tables featured tall acrylic benches (provided by Right Choice Linen) with large floral arrangements that sat up top. At the head table, were purposed the asymmetrical arch and continued with the growing garland across the head table. There was no shortage of candles in the space. Natalie selected a mauve candle colour that made the room sparkle right alongside the fairy lights strung above. A tasteful and romantic evening, one that will dazzle our memories for years to come!
