I met Nicole’s family last year while doing the flowers for her sister’s wedding. I was honoured that she reached out to us for her wedding and was excited to work with her and her family again. Nicole and Jared had originally planned to get married at the Arcadian Loft in downtown Toronto, but had to pivot like many couples did in 2020. Instead, Nicole and Jared had an unforgettable backyard wedding on a beautiful day in September.
Nicole loved baby blues and wanted to incorporate them in her floral design. The baby blues would have looked great in Arcadian Loft because they would have worked so well with the views of the city, but they looked even more incredible in the outdoors with the beautiful blue sky on her wedding day. We had so much fun time working with these tones and loved how playfully they popped against the copper of the chuppah.
Her wedding bouquet was featured delphinium, white lisianthus, limelight hydrangeas, and classic roses. It was a unique blend of textures that gave her bouquet a very unique and ethereal look.
Our favourite part of their big day was all of the beautiful floral accents they incorporated in different parts of their wedding. We fell in love with Nicole’s braid and the delicate, cloud-like touch the baby’s breath added to her look. We also loved that we floated roses in the pond that she walked through as she walked down the aisle to the love of her life.
